Moving assets between Pay and your Web3 wallet: on-chain transfers only

Pay and the Web3 Wallet are separate accounts with no internal transfer. Both directions go on-chain, USDT on Tron only. Here are the steps, fees and minimums.

⚡ Quick summary (TL;DR)

  • There is no internal transfer: the two are separate accounts, so moving assets between them always goes on-chain, in both directions.

  • USDT on Tron only: Pay’s on-chain deposits and withdrawals currently run on Tron (TRC20) with USDT.

  • Pay to Web3: use the withdrawal flow with your own Web3 wallet Tron address as the destination; a flat network fee applies.

  • Web3 to Pay: use the Web3 send flow to your Pay deposit address. You need TRX for gas, and the amount must clear the minimum crediting threshold.

  • Always verify address and network: once on-chain, a wrong network or address cannot be undone.

📖 Overview

Because Pay and the Web3 Wallet live in the same App, people assume assets can hop between them in one tap. They are different kinds of account, though: Pay is an in-app balance kept by the platform, while the Web3 Wallet is an on-chain wallet you control. There is no internal channel between them, so moving assets means using the blockchain.

That makes every move a real on-chain transaction: it carries a fee, a minimum amount, and the risk that a mistake cannot be reversed. Each direction is covered below.

➡️ From Pay to your Web3 wallet

The idea: this is an ordinary on-chain withdrawal — you just put your own Web3 wallet address in the destination field.

  1. In the Web3 Wallet, open Receive, choose USDT with the Tron network, and copy that address.

  2. Switch back to the Pay tab and open the withdrawal flow.

  3. Paste the address, keep the token as USDT and the network as Tron, and enter an amount. You can also scan the address instead of pasting it.

  4. Check the receive amount shown at the bottom, complete the passkey and other security checks, then submit.

💡 Sort out gas at the same time

This moves USDT, not TRX. Once it lands in the Web3 wallet you still need TRX to send anything onward. Buy a little TRX from an exchange and send it over at the same time so your funds are not immobile on arrival. See Can’t send anything out of your Web3 wallet?.

⬅️ From your Web3 wallet back to Pay

The idea: start an ordinary transfer in the Web3 wallet and send it to your Pay on-chain deposit address.

  1. In the Pay tab, open Deposit, choose the on-chain option, and copy the Tron deposit address shown.

  2. Switch to the Web3 Wallet tab, open Send, and choose USDT on the Tron network.

  3. Paste the deposit address and enter an amount. Make sure you hold enough TRX for gas, or the transfer will not go through.

  4. Submit and wait for on-chain confirmation; you get a wallet notification once it credits.

⚠️ Deposits have hard rules, and funds below the threshold cannot be recovered

Deposits into Pay must use the Tron network, and a transfer only credits if it meets the minimum deposit amount — anything below it neither credits nor can be recovered. Do not send NFTs to that address, and do not deposit through a smart contract. Always read the full notice shown on the deposit page before sending.

After it arrives on-chain the deposit still passes a compliance review before crediting, which can occasionally show as pending. See What to do when a deposit shows as pending.

✅ Run through this before you transfer

  • Confirm the address came from the receive or deposit page right then, not an old one from your history.

  • Confirm both ends are set to Tron.

  • Confirm the amount clears the minimum.

  • If sending from Web3, confirm your TRX balance covers gas.

  • For a large move, send a small test amount first and transfer the rest once it arrives.

❓ FAQ

Why isn’t there a one-tap transfer like the internal 划转?

That internal transfer works only inside Pay, moving funds between the Pay balance and your card account. The Web3 Wallet is a self-custodial on-chain wallet whose assets are not on the platform’s ledger, so the blockchain is the only route.

Can I fund my card straight from the Web3 wallet?

Not directly. Cards spend from the Pay balance, so move the assets from the Web3 wallet into Pay first, then use the internal transfer to fund the card account.

How long does it take to arrive?

On-chain confirmation on Tron is usually quick, typically within minutes. Funds coming into Pay also pass a compliance review before crediting, which occasionally takes longer. If it is well overdue, contact in-app support with the time, amount, and on-chain transaction hash.

I sent non-Tron USDT to my Pay deposit address. What now?

The Pay deposit address only handles USDT on Tron (TRC20). Assets sent over another network usually will not credit and are hard to recover. Contact in-app support right away with the on-chain transaction hash.
