⚡ Quick summary (TL;DR)
No new applications: Flash Card (VISA · BIN 40433705) is permanently closed to new applicants.
Existing cards keep working: top-ups, spending, Apple Pay / Alipay / WeChat binding, freeze and unfreeze all still work.
New users: Cloud Card: the virtual card on sale is Cloud Card (BIN 45659910); the physical card is Boundless Card.
Quota: new users may hold up to 5 virtual cards (all Cloud Cards). Existing Flash holders keep a 6-card virtual total. Boundless is counted separately.
📖 Overview
Effective immediately, MPChat has permanently stopped issuing new Flash Cards. This article covers what existing holders can still do, which card new users should open, and how the virtual-card cap changes.
✅ If you already have a Flash Card
As long as the card remains in your account and has not been cancelled, the following still work as before:
Top-ups, transfers onto the card, online spend and subscription charges
Binding Apple Pay, Apple ID / App Store, Google Pay, Alipay, WeChat Pay, and similar (subject to each platform’s support)
Freeze / unfreeze; view card number, expiry, and CVV
Spend limits, fees, and restricted-merchant rules still follow the Flash Card schedule
⚠️ Cancellation is final
If you cancel (delete) your Flash Card, you cannot apply for a new one. Open a Cloud Card instead when you need another virtual card.
🆕 If you do not have a Flash Card yet
The in-app Flash Card application entry is gone. Choose by use case:
Cloud Card (VISA · virtual · BIN 45659910): best for everyday online subscriptions and cross-border spend; supports Apple Pay / Google Pay / Alipay / WeChat. Issuance fee 10 USDT.
Boundless Card (VISA · physical · BIN 45659910): choose when you need in-person POS or ATM (ATM restricted in some regions). Issuance fee 100 USDT.
📊 Virtual-card quota (before / after)
User type | Virtual-card cap | Notes |
New users (never held Flash) | Up to 5 Cloud Cards | No Flash application in App |
Existing Flash holders | Up to 6 virtual cards total | Includes your 1 Flash + up to 5 Cloud; no new Flash |
Boundless (physical) | Counted separately | Does not use virtual-card quota |
Quota is tied to your KYC identity; opening multiple accounts does not increase it. The in-app display is the source of truth.
❓ FAQ
I already have a Flash Card — can I still use Apple Pay?
Yes. Existing Flash Cards are unaffected. See the Apple Pay troubleshooting articles if binding fails.
Will Flash Card fees and limits change after the stop?
Current fees and limits still follow the fee table and Flash Card intro; any change will be announced separately.
Why does the help center still mention Flash Card?
Because many existing holders still use it. Intro, limit, binding, and restricted-merchant articles stay; “go apply for Flash Card” prompts are removed.
