⚡ Quick summary (TL;DR)
Spot phishing, fake support, tainted USDT, and OTP scams to protect your MPChat account, USDT, and card balances.
Keep egress region, billing address, and card details aligned; leave a balance buffer; do not rapid-retry payments.
This guide is for MPChat Pay & MPCard (Cloud / Flash / Boundless).
📖 Overview
virtual cards and USDT top-up flows are common scam targets. Remember three rules: buy USDT through official channels, verify network and address, and never share card details or OTP codes.
Three most common scam types
Type | Tactic | Consequence |
Fake support / fake official | Impersonators on Telegram or WeChat claim to be "MPChat official" and ask for OTPs, card numbers, or seed phrases | Account takeover and card fraud |
Tainted USDT / fake USDT | Strangers sell "discounted" USDT, or you receive non-USDT tokens on-chain | Asset freeze; funds often unrecoverable |
Phishing links | Fake download or top-up pages mimicking mp.net | Pay assets drained |
Blockchain transfers are irreversible. Wrong addresses or tainted assets are almost impossible to recover.
USDT top-up safety checklist
Buy USDT only on regulated exchanges
Use C2C escrow on Binance, OKX, Gate, or similar exchanges — never buy USDT privately.

Buy USDT on Binance, OKX, or Gate — guides
Three checks before sending
Asset: USDT only (as shown on the app deposit page).
Network: must match the MPChat deposit page (commonly TRC20); wrong network can mean permanent loss.
Address: copy the deposit address from the MPChat app — don't type it; note minimum deposit (TRC20 USDT currently 10 USDT minimum — below that may not credit).
After sending
Check progress in app Deposit history; on-chain usually minutes, longer when congested.
If delayed: keep the TxID (transaction hash), contact the exchange and MPChat support — don't resend to a wrong address.
MPCard usage safety checklist
Never share sensitive card data
The following equals cash — never send via chat, screenshots, or email to anyone (including anyone claiming to be support):
Full card number, CVV, expiry date
SMS/email/Google verification codes
Unsolicited "remote assistance" unrelated to Passkey
⚠️ Official support will never ask for your CVV or request screen sharing to view your card.
Use official entry points only
Type | Correct entry |
Website / download | |
Help center | |
Live support | Official in-app support only |
Be wary of look-alike domains such as mp-chat.com or mpchat-support.xx.
Card usage habits
One card, one account: bind one Apple ID / primary subscription account per card when possible.
Don't use one card for repeated payments across multiple Telegram or Claude accounts.
Stop and troubleshoot after repeated declines — see Prevent Chargebacks, Freezes & Card Cancellation.
Spot fake official messages
Common Inbox scams (stay alert):
"You won" or "official staff" DMs asking for links or verification codes
Friend requests from strangers with mp / MPChat in avatar or name
"Announcement" links not on help.mp.net
Correct response: don't click, don't share codes; verify via official in-app support.
Already scammed — what now?
Stop immediately — no more transfers or disclosures.
If card details leaked: freeze the card in the app and contact support.
If USDT sent to a scam address: keep TxID, report to police and the sending platform (recovery unlikely, but document it).
If account is compromised: change password, review 2FA/Passkey, contact MPChat support to lock down risk.
❓ FAQ
Someone selling "discounted USDT" in a group?
Very likely tainted USDT or a scam. Use exchange C2C only.
Support asked me to install a third-party app for remote control?
Refuse. MPChat official support will never request remote control of your phone.
Deposited less than 10 USDT?
See What If My Deposit Is Below the Minimum? — don't "top up" via stranger "agent" addresses.

💬 Still having trouble?
Do not retry payments rapidly (risk systems may cool you down). Screenshot the error (mask card number & CVV), then tap the message icon in MPChat for 1:1 support.
Need an MPCard? Apply inside the MPChat App — a virtual card is usually ready in about a minute.
