How to add your MPChat Flash Card to Apple Pay and your Apple ID

Opened a card but don't know how to add it to Apple Pay? Learn how to add your MPChat Flash Card (an Apple Pay-ready VISA virtual card) to the iPhone Wallet and set it as your Apple ID payment method for App Store and iCloud.

Before you start: only the Flash Card (VISA virtual card · BIN 40433705) supports Apple Pay. Other cards such as the Cloud Card do not support Apple Pay / Google Pay yet. If you applied for a Cloud Card, first apply for a Flash Card via one-tap card application (10 USDT card fee), then come back to this guide.

📖 What this guide covers

Many users open a card but aren't sure how to use it on an iPhone. This guide uses the Flash Card to walk through two independent but complementary actions:

  • 1. Add it to Apple Pay (Wallet): add the Flash Card to the Wallet on your iPhone / Apple Watch for Apple Pay-supported online and in-app contactless payments.

  • 2. Set it as your Apple ID payment method: set the Flash Card as your Apple Account payment method for App Store purchases, iCloud+, and subscriptions such as Apple Music / TV+.

You can do either one or both — the same Flash Card can be used in both places without conflict.

🔑 Before you begin

  • An active Flash Card with enough balance: make sure the card you hold is the Flash Card (BIN 40433705) and that it has enough balance to cover any upcoming subscription charges.

  • Signed in to your Apple ID on iPhone: we recommend keeping the Apple Account region (top of iPhone Settings) consistent with your card billing address.

  • Get the full card details: in MPChat go to Wallet → My Cards → select the Flash Card → Card Detail → Show Number, and note the card number, expiry date, and CVV. See How do I view the full card number and expiration date?

📱 Method 1 · Add the Flash Card to Apple Pay (Wallet)

On your iPhone:

  1. Open the built-in Wallet app and tap the + in the top-right corner.

  2. Choose Debit or Credit Card and tap Continue.

  3. Scan the card with the camera, or tap Enter Card Details Manually and fill in the Flash Card's card number, cardholder name, and expiry date.

  4. Enter the CVV security code (3 digits) from the back of the card.

  5. Read and agree to the card issuer's terms.

  6. Choose a verification method (SMS or email) and enter the code you receive to activate the card.

  7. Once activated, the Flash Card appears in Wallet and is ready for Apple Pay.

Apple Watch: open the Watch app on your iPhone → Wallet & Apple PayAdd Card, and follow the same steps to sync it to your watch.

🍎 Method 2 · Set the Flash Card as your Apple ID payment method

Use this for App Store, iCloud+, and subscription auto-billing. On your iPhone:

  1. Open Settings and tap your name (Apple Account) at the top.

  2. Tap Payment & Shipping and complete verification when prompted.

  3. Tap Add Payment Method and choose Credit / Debit Card.

  4. Scan or manually enter the Flash Card's number, expiry date, and CVV, and fill in a billing address that matches the card.

  5. Tap Done to save. App Store / iCloud / subscription charges will now be billed to this Flash Card.

You can also open the App Store, tap your profile picture in the top-right, and manage the same card under Payment Information. For subscriptions, keep enough balance on the card to avoid failed renewals.

⚠️ Notes and troubleshooting

  • "Card not supported / can't add this card": the most common cause is that the card isn't a Flash Card. Confirm the BIN is 40433705 (Flash Card); the Cloud Card does not support Apple Pay yet.

  • Billing address must match: enter a billing address consistent with your card; a mismatch can cause add or charge failures. To change it, see How do I change my card's billing address?

  • Expiry format: enter it as MM/YY (two-digit month / two-digit year). See What is the card validity period format when linking a card to a third-party payment platform?

  • Verification code (3DS): when adding the card or paying, you may receive an SMS / email code — enter it promptly to complete verification.

  • Balance and where it works: the Flash Card is a virtual card, used mainly for online, in-app, and supported contactless payments. For the full scope, see MPChat Card limits and fees.

❓ Frequently asked questions

Q1: Why does it keep saying my card isn't supported?

First confirm you are adding the Flash Card. Only the Flash Card (BIN 40433705) supports Apple Pay; the Cloud Card does not yet. Check the BIN in the card detail; if it isn't a Flash Card, apply for one first, then add it.

Q2: Can I tap to pay in physical stores after adding it to Apple Pay?

The Flash Card is a virtual card, used mainly for online, in-app, and Apple Pay-supported contactless payments. Some in-store POS contactless payments may be limited by the merchant or risk controls, so availability varies — please follow the card usage rules.

Q3: Can one Flash Card be used for both Apple Pay and Apple ID at the same time?

Yes. The same Flash Card can be added to Apple Pay and set as your Apple ID payment method at the same time, and added on multiple Apple devices that you own, without conflict.
