📖 Overview
bind your MPChat virtual card as an international card in Alipay and WeChat Pay for some cross-border shopping, in-app purchases, and overseas merchants. This guide covers binding steps and common limits.

Ensure sufficient card balance before binding; international-card spend in Alipay/WeChat may incur extra fees.
Bind to Alipay
Open Alipay → Me → Bank Cards → Add bank card.
Choose “Credit card” or the international card type shown on screen.
Enter MPChat card number, expiry, CVV, and cardholder name (use your real name (Latin letters), matching the card page).
Complete SMS/bank verification as prompted.
After binding, select this card at merchants/scenarios that support international cards.
Notes:
Alipay limits international-card scenarios — not every merchant accepts them.
Alipay caps foreign cards at ¥3,000 per transaction, ¥50,000 a month and ¥60,000 a year. Over the per-transaction cap the card is greyed out with an “amount too large” notice — see Alipay limits on Visa cards: the ¥3,000 cap and the “amount too large” error.
Billing address checks are lenient, but card details must be accurate.
Cross-border/international-card fees may apply. Transactions ≤ ¥200 RMB are free; above ¥200, 3% of total (charged by WeChat/Alipay — MPChat does not add extra).
Bind to WeChat Pay
Open WeChat → Me → Services → Wallet → Bank Cards → Add bank card.
Enter MPChat card details (number, expiry, CVV, etc.).
Complete verification and save.
Notes:
WeChat international-card bind success depends on merchant type and region.
Cloud Card, Flash Card, and Boundless Card all support binding to WeChat.
Some scenarios accept UnionPay only — international cards not working is normal.

Security tips
Never send screenshots of card number, CVV, or expiry to others.
After binding, secure your Alipay/WeChat account itself (payment PIN, biometrics, etc.).
