✅ Supported Version: Mainland China WeChat Pay (Weixin Pay) Currently, the Asia Elite Card only supports linking with the Mainland China version of WeChat Pay. Once successfully linked, you can use it seamlessly for daily online and offline consumption within Mainland China.
❌ Unsupported Version: WeChat Pay HK (Hong Kong Wallet) The Asia Elite Card currently does not support linking with the Hong Kong version of WeChat Pay.
🔍 Deep Dive: Why can't I link it to WeChat Pay HK?
WeChat Pay HK and Mainland China's Weixin Pay are two completely independent settlement systems. According to the latest official rules from WeChat Pay HK, it only allows the linking of "locally issued in Hong Kong" Visa cards. Since our Asia Elite Card is an international card issued in Singapore, it falls outside the supported range of WeChat Pay HK. This is the fundamental reason why no record is found in the background during the linking process, ultimately leading to failure.
