Updated over 2 months ago

To protect the security of your account and funds, MPChat reminds you to be vigilant against fraudulent emails and social messages. Please refer to the following three anti-scam tips to steer clear of fraud traps.

1. Verify the Sender's Email Address Scammers often spoof email addresses to make them appear as if they are from the official MPChat source. Please ensure you carefully check the sender's address:

  • MPChat's official email addresses should end with @mp.net.

  • For example: [email protected] is legitimate, while addresses like @MPChat-support.com or @MPChat.vip are suspicious.

⚠️ Please note: Email addresses can be spoofed. Even if an email appears to be from an official address, it does not guarantee the email is genuine. If you have any doubts, please contact MPChat Customer Service immediately for verification.

2. Handle Email Content and Requests with Caution Scammers may impersonate official MPChat staff via email, social media, or chat apps to trick you into providing sensitive information or executing financial transactions. Please observe the following:

  • Never Disclose Sensitive Information: MPChat (including customer service) will never ask you to:

    • Provide wallet seed phrases or passwords.

    • Provide the full card number, CVV code, or expiry date.

    • Transfer funds to an unknown address.

  • Submit Suspicious Emails as .eml Files for Verification:

    • Open the email, click on the "More" or "Three-dot menu" in the top right corner.

    • Select "Download message" or "View original message" to save the .eml file.

    • Submit this file via the customer service entry point on the official website or App for inspection by the security team.

  • Avoid Clicking Unknown Links: Do not click on any links in emails or messages unless you have verified they are legitimate MPChat official links. Phishing links can steal your login credentials or funds.

If you have doubts about an email you received or discover any suspicious circumstances, please contact MPChat Customer Service immediately. We will assist you with further verification and ensure the security of your account.
