Multi-Card Management & One-Card-One-Account

Isolate card purposes and use one-card-one-account to reduce linkage risk across multiple subscription profiles. Written for MPChat help center users.

⚡ Quick summary (TL;DR)

Isolate card purposes and use one-card-one-account to reduce linkage risk across multiple subscription profiles.

  • Keep egress region, billing address, and card details aligned; leave a balance buffer; do not rapid-retry payments.

  • This guide is for MPChat Pay & MPCard (Cloud / Flash / Boundless).

📖 Overview

how to plan and manage multiple MPCards for many subscriptions and accounts — lower risk-control exposure and keep books clear.

Why use multiple cards?

  • One card, one account (important): many merchants (especially AI services) allow one card per account. One card on multiple accounts often triggers risk controls and account/card suspension. Use separate cards for separate accounts.

  • Risk isolation: if one card is frozen or flagged, others and your assets stay unaffected.

  • Purpose separation: subscription, daily spend, and large-ticket cards stay separate for clearer statements and troubleshooting.

MPChat supports multiple cards. Each verified user can open up to 6 virtual cards: a maximum of 5 Cloud Cards and 1 Flash Card. The quota is counted per KYC-verified identity, so opening extra accounts does not raise it. The Boundless Card (physical) does not count toward the virtual-card quota. Exact limit shown live in the app.

Multi-card management tips

MPChat offers card management tools — use them to stay organized:

  • Set card notes/labels (e.g. "ChatGPT", "Netflix", "Daily"). See How to Set Card Notes or Labels?

  • Reorder cards — drag favorites to the top. See How to Reorder Cards by Dragging?

  • Set per-card daily limits for risk control and fraud prevention.

  • Set balance alerts to avoid subscription declines from low balance.

  • Swipe left to see all cards when you can't find one.

Discipline with multiple cards

  • Don't bind/unbind repeatedly — unusual activity triggers risk controls.

  • Keep a fee buffer on each card — monitor balances separately.

  • Cancel unused cards promptly — note cancellation fees and balance return rules (see chargeback/cancellation guide).

  • Keep every card secret — never expose any card number or CVV.

❓ FAQ

How many cards can I open?

Each verified user can open up to 6 virtual cards: a maximum of 5 Cloud Cards and 1 Flash Card. The quota is counted per KYC-verified identity, so opening extra accounts does not raise it. The Boundless Card (physical) does not count toward the virtual-card quota. Pay balance is shared, each card balance is separate. Exact limit shown live in the app.

Are funds shared across cards?

Pay balance is one shared asset account; each card balance is separate and needs its own transfer. See MPCard Fund Management: Top-Up, Transfer Out & Spend.

Can one card really not bind multiple AI accounts?

Strongly discouraged. Merchants often suspend accounts/cards. One card per account is safest.

💬 Still having trouble?

Do not retry payments rapidly (risk systems may cool you down). Screenshot the error (mask card number & CVV), then tap the message icon in MPChat for 1:1 support.

Need an MPCard? Apply inside the MPChat App — a virtual card is usually ready in about a minute.
