📖 Overview
Replicate is a pay-as-you-go open-source AI model hosting platform (FLUX, Llama, Whisper, Stable Diffusion and more). Since July 2025 it has billed via prepaid credit; new accounts typically receive a small introductory credit (the amount varies — check the value shown in Billing after signup). Auto-reload requires a minimum reload of $15 and a threshold of at least $5. This tutorial covers the first manual top-up and auto-reload setup with an MPChat Cloud Card.

Account security: enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on the Replicate account
Network consistency: keep a US IP around renewal dates so the account is not flagged

Does Replicate charge a monthly fee?
No — Replicate is fully pay-as-you-go via prepaid credits, no subscription required.
What if auto-reload fails?
Usually because the card has insufficient balance or hit risk control. Top up MPCard to ≥ $30, then trigger one manual top-up in Billing to revalidate the card.
Can I use one card for OpenAI API + Replicate?
You can, but separating cards (one per API service, each with its own monthly limit) is the recommended setup.
