📖 Overview
Replicate is a pay-as-you-go open-source AI model hosting platform (FLUX, Llama, Whisper, Stable Diffusion and more). Since July 2025 it has billed via prepaid credit; new accounts typically receive a small introductory credit (the amount varies — check the value shown in Billing after signup). Auto-reload requires a minimum reload of $15 and a threshold of at least $5. This tutorial covers the first manual top-up and auto-reload setup with an MPChat Asia Elite Card.

MPChat account ready
Install the official MPChat app, complete identity verification, and activate the wallet

Use a stable US residential IP; avoid public Wi-Fi, datacenter, or shared proxy IPs
Keep IP region consistent with the card and billing address to pass risk checks
Funding ready
Replicate costs around $20/month; stock ~$30 in USDT to cover the $1 pre-auth and FX
Keep card balance ≥ $22 so the first charge is not blocked
📝 Step-by-Step Subscription Guide
Phase 1 - Prepare the MPCard
Top up USDT
Path: MPChat App → Wallet → Deposit- Copy your dedicated USDT deposit address- Send USDT from an external wallet or exchange- Wait for network confirmation (usually 5-15 minutes)
Issue an Asia Elite Card (VISA)

Move funds onto the card
Path: MPChat App → Wallet → Transfer- From: MP Wallet (USDT)- To: MPCard (USD)- Amount: at least $22 including the $1 verification buffer
Phase 2 - Replicate Subscription Flow
Open replicate.com/account/billing and sign in
Click Add credit; choose a preset (e.g. $10 / $25) or enter a custom amount
Enter card details on the Stripe checkout page
(Recommended) After top-up, set Auto-reload with threshold $5 and minimum $15

If a running prediction exceeds your balance, Replicate auto-charges the overage at month-end

Auto-renew: on by default, charged on the same day each month
Cancel: Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. Access continues through the end of the paid cycle.
Security reminders
Card protection: set a monthly spend limit on the MPCard to reduce fraud risk
Account security: enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on the Replicate account
Network consistency: keep a US IP around renewal dates so the account is not flagged

Does Replicate charge a monthly fee?
No — Replicate is fully pay-as-you-go via prepaid credits, no subscription required.
What if auto-reload fails?
Usually because the card has insufficient balance or hit risk control. Top up MPCard to ≥ $30, then trigger one manual top-up in Billing to revalidate the card.
Can I use one card for OpenAI API + Replicate?
You can, but separating cards (one per API service, each with its own monthly limit) is the recommended setup.
