If you have encountered the following questions while using Group Apps:
"How do I find and open a Group App (Mini-Program) within a group chat?"
"What should I do if a Mini-Program asks for authorization?"
"Why does it say 'This app has been taken down' when I click on it?"
MPChat offers a wide range of "Group App" features. Please refer to the guide below to get started:
1. How to Find Apps?
Group App Entry Point: Tap the dedicated "Group App" icon in the top-right corner of the group chat interface to view a list of all apps available for that group. Icons marked with a "new" badge indicate apps added within the last 7 days.
Shortcut (Recently Used): Simply pull down on the message list page to quickly reveal the "Recently Used Apps" panel (displays up to 12 apps).
2. First-Time "Authorization" Prompt
When opening certain apps for the first time, they may request permission to access basic information such as your account ID, avatar, or nickname. Tap [Agree] to proceed. If you tap "Decline," you will automatically exit the app and will be prompted for authorization again the next time you open it.
3. Why does it say "This app has been taken down"?
If you see a black overlay with the message "Sorry, this app has been taken down. Check out other apps," it means the developer has removed or deactivated the app from the platform. It is no longer available for use.
4. How to Clear "Recently Used" Records?
Pull down from the message list to enter the "Recently Used" page, then long-press any app icon to enter edit mode. You can tap the [-] button on an individual icon to delete a specific record, or tap [Clear All Apps] at the bottom to wipe your entire history with one click.
