What is "Windowed Multitasking"? How can I chat while viewing content?

Updated over a month ago

"Windowing" feature introduced in MPChat v1.2.2 allows you to handle multiple tasks simultaneously—just like on a computer—without the need to switch back and forth between chats and content.

It supports the following three common scenarios:

  • Chat While Viewing (Chat Bubbles): When you are playing a game or using a Mini-program, new messages will appear as floating bubbles. Tap the bubble to reply directly; it will automatically collapse once you're done, ensuring your gameplay remains uninterrupted.

  • Read Later (Snap-to-Edge): Want to reply to a message while browsing a webpage or tutorial? Tap the "Minimize" icon in the top right. The page will shrink and hang on the edge of your screen. Once you've handled your messages, tap it to instantly resume where you left off.

  • Follow While Doing (Split-screen Style): Need to follow a tutorial step-by-step? Minimize the Help Center article into a floating window, then navigate to the relevant page (like your Wallet) to follow along. You'll never have to worry about forgetting the steps again.
