What privileges do group administrators have?

As an administrator, you have the following permissions:

  • Group Name: Set the name of the group chat.

  • Group Avatar: Set the profile picture for the group.

  • Group Announcement: Set the group notice/announcement.

  • Manage Members: You can set members as administrators, mute them permanently, or remove them from the group.

  • Disable Private Messaging: When enabled, group members cannot view each other's profiles or send private messages to one another.

  • New Members Can View Chat History: When enabled, newly joined members can read the chat history from before they joined.

  • Auto-Clear Group Messages: When enabled, chat history older than 36 hours will be automatically cleared. (This feature is currently unavailable)

  • Disappearing Messages: When enabled, messages will self-destruct after a set period. (This feature is currently unavailable)

  • Screenshot Notification: When enabled, all members will be notified if someone takes a screenshot in the chat. (This feature is currently unavailable)
