What privileges do group administrators have?

As an administrator, you have the following permissions:

  • Group Announcement: Set and publish group-wide announcements.

  • Manage Group Members: You can appoint members as administrators, permanently mute them, or remove them from the group.

  • Scheduled Message Cleanup: Once enabled, group chat history older than 36 hours will be automatically deleted.

  • Burn-After-Reading: When enabled, messages will self-destruct within the timeframe you set.

  • Screenshot Notification: When enabled, all members will be notified if someone takes a screenshot of the conversation.

  • Private Chat Restriction: When enabled, group members are restricted from accessing each other's profiles or chatting privately.
