The refund processing time depends on the transaction type and the merchant's processing speed:
Processing Speed: Authorization-related refunds (such as pre-authorization reversals) and instant transaction refunds are typically very fast, whereas refunds from e-commerce platforms tend to take longer.
Expected Timeline: Refunds generally take 2 to 15 business days, though in some cases, it may exceed one month. Currently, we have not encountered any transactions that do not support refunds.
Our Process: MPChat will credit the refund to your account as soon as we receive the funds from the merchant. Since we must also wait for the merchant and the banking settlement system to process the request, we kindly ask for your patience.
