📖 Overview
Postman is the de-facto API development and testing platform. Plans were restructured in March 2026: Free (1 user), Solo $9/user/mo, Team $19/user/mo (annual rate, replaces legacy Basic), Enterprise custom-quoted (legacy Professional is discontinued; existing customers may keep legacy pricing through next renewal). This tutorial covers subscribing to Solo or Team with an MPChat Asia Elite Card (VISA).
🔑 Prerequisites
A successful subscription hinges on three elements staying aligned: a compliant service account, a stable US IP, and a funded MPCard.
MPChat account ready
Install the official MPChat app, complete identity verification, and activate the wallet
Issue an Asia Elite Card (VISA); record the 16-digit card number, expiry and CVC
Network setup
Use a stable US residential IP; avoid public Wi-Fi, datacenter, or shared proxy IPs
Keep IP region consistent with the card and billing address to pass risk checks
Funding ready
Postman costs around $19/month; stock ~$25 in USDT to cover the $1 pre-auth and FX
Keep card balance ≥ $21 so the first charge is not blocked
📝 Step-by-Step Subscription Guide
Phase 1 - Prepare the MPCard
Top up USDT
Path: MPChat App → Wallet → Deposit- Copy your dedicated USDT deposit address- Send USDT from an external wallet or exchange- Wait for network confirmation (usually 5-15 minutes)
Issue an Asia Elite Card (VISA)
Path: MPChat App → MPCard → New Card- Card type: Asia Elite Card (VISA)- Generated instantly; save the card details
Move funds onto the card
Path: MPChat App → Wallet → Transfer- From: MP Wallet (USDT)- To: MPCard (USD)- Amount: at least $21 including the $1 verification buffer
Phase 2 - Postman Subscription Flow
Open postman.com/pricing and sign in, then pick Solo or Team
Inside Team Settings → Billing, click Upgrade
Pick seat count and annual / monthly billing (annual is cheaper)
Fill MPCard details and a US billing address on the checkout page

Phase 3 - Payment Details (critical step)

Street: 1234 Maple Street- City: San Francisco- State: CA- ZIP Code: 94102- Country: United States
Verification & activation
Postman authorizes a $1 charge as verification (usually refunded immediately)
After payment succeeds the subscription goes Active right away
Sign in, test core features, and confirm the renewal cycle on the Billing page
⚠️ Notes & Troubleshooting
Service-specific notes
Postman restructured plans in March 2026: legacy Basic became Team; legacy Professional is discontinued (existing customers keep legacy pricing through next renewal)
Mock Servers / Custom Domains / Collection Runs are unlimited on all paid tiers
The Free plan is single-user only and can no longer create team workspaces
Common payment failures
Error | Fix | Priority |
Card declined | Verify the three-in-one: US IP + Asia Elite Card + US billing address | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
Address invalid | Regenerate a detailed real US address; ZIP must match State | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
IP flagged | Switch to a US residential IP; avoid datacenter or public proxies | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
Insufficient balance | Top up MPCard to at least $21 | ⭐⭐⭐ |
Subscription management
Check status: account page → Settings / Billing
Download invoice: receipts available on the Billing page
Upgrade / downgrade: change plan any time
Auto-renew: on by default, charged on the same day each month
Cancel: Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription. Access continues through the end of the paid cycle.
Security reminders
Card protection: set a monthly spend limit on the MPCard to reduce fraud risk
Account security: enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on the Postman account
Network consistency: keep a US IP around renewal dates so the account is not flagged
❓ FAQ
Solo vs Team — which one do I pick?
Solo ($9/user/mo annual) is for individual developers with higher AI credits and automation; Team ($19/user/mo annual) is for small teams with full collaborative workspaces and role management.
Do I need to talk to sales for Enterprise?
Standard Enterprise can be purchased online, but ≥ 50 seats or SCIM / Private Network typically goes through Sales for a custom contract.
What if monthly Postman bills get large?
Use a dedicated MPCard for Postman with a monthly limit = seats × price × 1.2 to absorb FX swing.

💬 Still having trouble?
Do not retry payments repeatedly in a short window—it triggers risk-control cooldowns. Screenshot the error and click the chat icon at the bottom-right to reach MPChat support for 1-on-1 help.
Don't have an MPCard yet? Apply for an Asia Elite Card (VISA) in the MPChat App — about 1 minute end-to-end to generate a virtual card.
This guide gets Postman subscribed in 10-15 minutes. If anything fails, check the US IP + Asia Elite Card + US billing address alignment first.
